FOREVER DTF Effect is a specialty transfer film that enables metallic, holographic, chrome, rainbow, and textured foil finishes using your standard DTF printer—no vinyl, no screen printing, and no special inks.

This film only transfers the black areas of your design and uses a two‑step press process to apply hot stamping foil over the printed area.

What Is FOREVER DTF Effect?

FOREVER DTF Effect works by printing a solid black design onto the film, transferring it to the fabric, and then applying any hot stamping foil over the black area.

You can create:

—without extra equipment.

Only black ink is required.

STEP 1: Preparing Your Artwork

• Design using 4‑Color Black (CMYK Black)
• Use 100% C, M, Y, and K
• Turn white ink OFF in your RIP software
• Follow design rules:
• Minimum open spaces: 6 mm
• Minimum font size: 17 pt

These guidelines ensure clean, accurate foil transfer.

STEP 2: Printing the Film

• Print on the coated/matte side
• Wear gloves to prevent fingerprints
• Apply normal DTF hot‑melt powder
• Cure as usual:
• Oven max: 135°C (275°F)
• Shaker max: 100°C (212°F)

STEP 3: First Press — Transfer Black Ink

For Cotton:

• 160–170°C / 320–338°F
• 30 seconds
• Heavy pressure (3 Bar / 43 PSI)

Let cool completely → cold peel.

STEP 4: Second Press — Apply Hot Stamping Foil

Place foil over the black design and press:

• 160°C / 320°F
• 40 seconds
• Heavy pressure (3 Bar / 43 PSI)

Let cool → peel cold for a stunning foil finish.

Wash & Care Instructions

• Wash inside out (up to 40°C)
• Avoid softeners and liquid detergents
• Hang dry only
• Iron inside out
